Old Hollywood Glam

Since I can remember, I've been inspired by old Hollywood--from its glamorous gowns and red carpets to timeless hair, makeup and everything in between.  

I had the pleasure of having an old Hollywood moment of my own this weekend with the help of the uber-talented Rachel Perryman of La Rouge Artistry.  She helped me to achieve a classic glam look with loose curls and airbrushed makeup.  

It was my first time trying airbrushed foundation (my normal day-to-day makeup routine includes only eye-liner and mascara--I usually skip foundation altogether) and Rachel tried out a system on me called temptu.

I love how light the foundation was that came out of the temptu machine--to the point where it didn't feel like I was wearing any makeup at all. I'm really excited to use it again and to try to achieve a similar look myself in the near future.
