How to Style Culottes for Spring

Sharing an all black look with a pop of lilac today. I'm a big fan of the color lilac for spring (more about that here) so naturally, these culottes were calling my name and I was excited to try styling them.

They add such a fun pop of pastel color to any outfit and I love that they can be dressed up or down so easily.

These culottes are cropped, they have the perfect wide leg and they also have raw hems at the bottom. These are three of my favorite trends in pants right now all in one pair so I'm pretty much in love.

How To Style The Look

If you haven't tried culottes out yet, I urge you to give them a go this season. It took me hot minute to give them a try myself but I'm so happy I did.

I thought the cropped wide leg would look disproportionate on me since I'm only 5"4. Instead, I was surprised at how much I loved them! I now have my eye on this pair here, here and this wide-legged pant suit here.

I kept today's look super simple--pairing it with a classic black turtleneck, belt, white cat eye sunnies and mules with a dainty bow.

That said, it's also fun to color block with these lilac pants. I've tried wearing them with other shades of lilac like this top with oversized sleeves.
