Tutu + Scarf Dress
Writing from Reno-Tahoe where I'm spending a couple days away with my hubby. It's only my second time away from Naiya since she was born and it was so hard to leave her!
Phil convinced me to come with him on this business trip so that we could get a little time away together. In the end, I'm so happy he convinced me!
Missing Naiya like crazy but it's so refreshing to have a quick breather outside of Los Angeles (and to practice not being a #stagefiveclinger. We snapped these photos right before we left of Naiya in the cutest tutu dress and me in one of my favorite scarf dresses.
Sharing our outfit details below as well as a few similar looks I'm eyeing at all different price points.
Outfit Of The Day: Mom
The scarf dress trend has been going strong all season but I didn't scoop one up until I fell in love with this dress.
I'm loving the pattern, the colors and most of all, the classic drop-waist.Today, I paired it with nude heels, white retro sunnies and a black leather purse. I also love layering this dress beneath a black moto jacket.
Outfit Of The Day: Baby
I can't get enough of Naiya's tutu dress today! We scooped it up from PatPat and we've been wearing it on repeat ever since.
Today, we paired it with Naiya's favorite gold moccasins and kept the rest of the look simple. The dress has already sold out but I'm linking to a few similar ones below that I'm loving too (and I'll add this one back into this post as soon as it's back in stock).
#MomLife
Truth be told, Naiya was having a mini meltdown while we were taking these photos. All she wanted to do was go over to the farmer's market across the street to try samples (a girl after my own heart!).
Of course, we let her try all the samples right away (I only like to take pictures of her when she is actually enjoying it).
We snapped the above photo of Naiya crying right before she went over to the farmer's market. It was kind of a happy accident because it happens to be one of my favorite shots we've ever taken. We post so many shots of Naiya smiling (thankfully, she's usually such a happy baby!) but this photo is a perfect snapshot of all of the space in between--it's real #momlife.
