Must-Have Diaper Backpack for New Moms

Happy Monday, Everyone! Since Naiya was born, I feel like I've been on a constant quest to find the perfect diaper bag.

Do any new mamas out there have the same problem?

It's one of the hardest things to find! I've been searching for something functional, lightweight, durable and cute for months now.  While numerous bags I’ve tried have checked two or three of these boxes, it's been almost impossible to find a bag that kills it on all of the above.

With that said, I'm so excited to share one of my all-time favorite diaper bags with you today because I think I've found the holy grail.  Along with today's mom and baby outfit post, I'm sharing where to snag this bag, what makes it so unique and why you need it in your life too.

The "It" Diaper Bag

When I first saw this rose gold diaper backpack by Lassig, I immediately fell in love with its color.

I also loved its cute shape and the fact that it could easily convert from a messenger bag into a backpack. Let’s face it: diaper backpacks are where it’s at (at least for me!) because we as mamas need our hands free to chase after and hold our little ones. Loving that this bag has both options though for sure!

From there, I searched in all of the bag’s compartments and was totally impressed.  I saw that it came with a removable bottle cooler (one of my favorite features) and side pockets that are also wide enough for extra bottles.

There are tons of pockets--both on the front and the back--so if you're a type-A organized person like me (or if you're always trying to stay organized), this bag has you covered. The inside of the bag opens up extra wide so you can fit blankets or larger items in there really easily.

It comes with a removable soft cast  within it for organization where you can store diapers, wipes, snacks, cups, pacifiers or anything else for easy access.  It also comes with a diaper changing mat wrapped up and ready to go.

I liked the bag so much, we ended up taking it on its trial run for our big Prague trip a couple months back and thankfully, it ended up being so perfect for international travel, I can't recommend it enough.  It easily hooked on to the back of our stroller, I stuffed all of our essentials in it and it helped keep Naiya's bottle cold all day.  Best of all, it didn't break after heavy usage--unlike almost every other diaper bag I've invested in.

Outfit Of The Day: Baby

Naiya is wearing the most adorable embroidered denim dress we can't get enough of this season (she recently wore it here too).

Today, we paired it with red cowgirl boots that we're having too much fun with. We love that they have soft bottoms so they're easy for Naiya to walk in and the fringe at the top is too cute (not to mention they're less than $10)!

If you live in a colder environment, this dress looks so cute paired with leggings for the winter and layered beneath a warm teddy jacket. We tried this look on our recent trip to New York City for Thanksgiving and it looked so cute.

Outfit Of The Day: Mom

Today, I'm wearing one of my favorite emerald green accordion skirts I scooped up at Zara a few years back (similar here, also worn here and here). I paired it with a lace top with the prettiest details from Chicwish.

I've also been pairing this top with jeans and blazers for work recently.I topped off the look with basic nude sandals, white sunnies, my diaper bag of course and my black leather purse. Speaking of which, another plus of this diaper bag is that it can easily fit another bag within it.

If you’re anything like me and the thought of taking everything out of your normal purse to put in your diaper bag feels like too much of a hassle, this diaper bag definitely has you covered.
