Quarantine Style: Sweatshirt Dress Two Ways

A week and a half into our quarantine, I've been making it a point to create as much normalcy throughout my day as possible. It's the least I can do throughout all of this uncertainty while balancing work and kids at home!  One way I've been doing this is by making sure I actually get dressed in the morning.

The first few days working from home last week, I wore a lot of sweatpants on repeat.  This ended up getting old because I realized pretty quickly that they were making me feel sluggish and unproductive.  Sharing a dress with you today that I've been living in instead.

It's just as comfy as sweats but it looks and feels more presentable--especially on all of my zoom conference calls (AKA the new normal)! Styling it two different ways below while social distancing.

The Sweatshirt Dress I'm Living In

I originally bought this oversized sweatshirt dress right after I gave birth to Sadie. It ended up being perfect for my postpartum body because it was so comfy, soft and extra roomy.

Now that I'm out of the fourth trimester, this dress has taken on a whole new purpose I never would've expected. It's become my quarantine OOTD and I'm obsessed. At less than $60 it's a total steal and I bet you'll live in it too.Styling it two different ways today: dressed down with my favorite Golden Goose sneakers and dressed up for more of a date night in look with red booties and a pearl headband.  I also love layering a moto jacket over the shoulders of these looks for some extra edge.

Quarantine Craziness: How Are You Holding Up?

It's overwhelming to think we are going to be living this new isolated lifestyle for the foreseeable future.  How much longer do you see this quarantine lasting? Has your style already changed since you only see people over video chat? Do you even feel the need to get dressed?

I know it's not easy.Tell me all the things in the comment section below. Most importantly, hang in there! It's crazy out there so hopefully you're carving out some time to do some self care, relax and know that this too shall pass. Hopefully we all come out stronger and even more thankful for the people in our lives who we can't hug in person right now.
