Three more sleeps until 2021 and I'm still stuck somewhere in May of 2020. Anybody else?! This year was bizarre, uncertain and somehow, the fastest I've ever experienced. While we can't go out safely this year to celebrate, New Year's glam does not have to be canceled! We can still get dressed up to ring in the New Year in style. Sharing New Years Eve outfit inspo with you today--from comfy sparkly pieces to dresses I'm loving. All of these pieces can be styled in chic ways for the rest of 2021 too.

NYE Outfit Inspo

One thing I've learned in 2020 is just how much dressing up can positively affect my mood. For this reason, while I DEFINITELY spent a good portion of this crazy year in loungewear (more here and here), dressing up has helped me to feel a semblance of normalcy.

Likewise, for NYE this year, I'm dressing up to cuddle my babies and watch the ball drop (nice and early--on east coast time because #parenthood!). I'm planning on wearing this black and gold mini dress (similar here). I'm pairing it with my fave OTK boots that needed to see the light of day before the end of 2020 at least once! In classic Naiya form, she's wearing yet another princess-inspired dress today. My mom hand-painted this for her when Sadie was born (more here) and it has become A LOT shorter ever since! Naiya picked out her own leggings and sneakers today so she's sticking with the "I only dress myself," nothing matches EVER trend.

She topped off her look with a princess tiara which, of course, is very on-brand for her too. This girl boss knows what she likes and she's honing in on her style by the minute. If Naiya's "three-nager" phase is any indication of what Naiya's teenage years will look like, I'm totally in but I'm OMG bracing myself big-time!

NYE Comfy Outfit Inspo

Since the theme of 2020 was all comfy EVERYTHING, NYE doesn't have to be any different. That said, in making it to the end of 2020, we have A LOT to celebrate so bring on the sparkle! This year of all years, I'm all about spending money on pieces that are not one-and-done.
