Arizona Desert Escape: We’re in Escrow!

I recently shared some BIG family news: we're currently in escrow on our first house WITH A YARD!  While buying a home with a yard may seem completely attainable throughout many parts of the country, it can feel impossible in LA. The housing market here is currently out of control and the prices are outrageous.  I can't believe we may soon be homeowners rather than townhouse owners (as we are now!). While escrow often tends to be a long, unpredictable process, we're putting out ALL the positive vibes that everything will work out! I'm excited to share updates with you here as they come! In the meantime, I'm sharing some candid family photos with you today that we snapped while we were visiting the Arizona dessert a few weeks back. We needed to get the kids out of our house for a whole weekend while we held open houses for potential buyers. A staycation with Phil's parents was ultimately the perfect escape. This particular dessert walk at sunset was pure magic .

Dessert Outfit Inspo

I'm SO excited that it's officially spring. Naturally, I had to pull out this comfy polkadot skirt, sleeveless sweater (with shoulder pads!), and white booties to explore the Arizona dessert with the fam. I've loved cactus' since I was a little girl and there's such a beautiful, tranquil energy in the dessert that's unmatched.Naiya picked out both her own outfit as well as Sadie's today.  Linking to Naiya's blue and purple tulle dress below. It's her current favorite and she's been wearing it on repeat. This gray sweater Sadie is wearing happens to be one of my favorite pieces she owns. I love that Naiya can still fit into it too--especially since it was initially hers.Naiya and Sadie are literally sharing ALL the clothes now! Naiya is taller than Sadie but I'm almost positive they weigh the same (or Sadie is even heavier!). At this rate, these girls are going to be carrying me into their first day at kindergarten.
