Top 10 Basic Tops Under $60

Los Angeles mom blogger, RELish By Arielle takes her kids an hour outside of LA to play in the snow at Mount Baldy

Over the past couple of years, I've noticed myself reaching for all the neutral basics in my closet on repeat (more here and here). I've found myself craving simplicity. I love the fact that I'm able to mix and match basic pieces so easily. They're also so easy to dress up or down with accessories and I LOVE that they're so perfect for ALL of the work zooms. Today, I'm rounding up my favorite basic tops that I've been living in this year which are all under $60.00 (clickable above). You can't go wrong with these tops--they literally go with everything!

Basic Tops I'm Living In

When it comes to basic neutrals, I love a simple bodysuit like this black one for layering. I love draping leather jackets or blazers over bodysuits to help dress up my look for all the zooms and I love that they're so flattering. I especially love pairing them with high-waisted denim like this pair here. The same goes for cute cropped tanks like this one! I love layering cropped tanks under shackets (more here) and accessorizing with simple gold jewelry (more here and here). For cooler temperatures, my first go-to is always a comfy, neutral sweater. This turtleneck sweater is the perfect cozy layering piece. I especially love pairing sweaters like this with a denim jacket draped over my shoulders. One of the most-worn basic pieces in my closet is this sweatshirt (pictured below in creme and lilac). I've purchased it in a number of different colors and love pairing it with jeans, skirts, shorts and everything in between. Topping off this post with some recent photos of some of my favorite basic pieces. Do you gravitate towards basic or patterned looks or does your wardrobe fall somewhere in between? Have you simplified your style over this quarantine period of time? Tell me all the things in the comment section below. As always, thanks so much for stopping by! XO, Arielle Photography: Azusa Takano
