Home For The Holidays
Our family spent the last six days in Waikiki, Hawaii. We weren’t blessed with the best weather (there was a big rain and wind storm for most of the trip) but it was our first family beach vacation and it was the BEST. We’re excited to be back in LA for the holidays—especially since we almost didn’t make it back in time! Since the weather is so unpredictable throughout the winter months around the country, our afternoon flight from Honolulu to LAX was delayed over 6 hours. It ultimately turned into an unexpected red eye. I was worried the kids would melt down and our travels would be extra challenging but I’m grateful to report they surprisingly did well!
We’ve been celebrating Hanukkah as a family all week in Hawaii but we couldn’t help but snap some Christmas holiday pictures too. I’ve been reflecting a lot this week on how great 2022 was to our family. We made the house we bought in 2021 a home, we made some amazing new family friends, Phil and I continued to learn and grow at work, and most importantly, our girls grew exponentially, are thriving in school, and they are continuing to become best friends (usually!).
Thank you so much for following along with our family this year and always. We love sharing snapshots of our lives to have special memories to look back on but above all else, to connect with you. We can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store! Wishing you the happiest holidays!
