Polka Dot Set & Family Photos
Happy July 4th weekend! I blinked and here we are—already half way through the year. This is feeling like the fastest year yet on my end but I guess that starts to come with age (especially after having kids!). I’ve been living in this two piece polka dot set this summer and I couldn’t love it more. Sharing outfit details and where to scoop it up below, as well as some recent family photos.
Outfit Of The Day
This two-piece polka dot set (skirt and top) is made of a beautiful linen material. The skirt is high-waisted and the top is cut on the shorter side. I have also loved pairing both pieces with other looks—ie: pairing the skirt with a white tank or pairing the top with shorts.
I topped off the look with classic summer sandals. TBH, these are a splurge but I can’t rave about them more. I’ll link to more affordable versions here and below too. I also added a cute summer bag I’ve been wearing on repeat by Paris 64. It comes with a cross-body strap and it has a pouch inside with a drawstring that helps to keep all of your belongings safely inside the bag.
I’m also loving this polka dot dress here and here and this jumpsuit which all come in the same pattern as my look today.
Quick Family Updates:
Naiya just finished first grade and Sadie graduated from preschool. Time is truly flying and I can’t believe we’re about to have a TK-er and second grader. We’re already deep in our summer routine now and both girls are having a blast in camp. Summer is always so fun with our kids but the new schedule outside of school always throws us for a loop in the beginning—especially since Phil and I work full-time. Does anyone else feel this way over the summer? We have two different drop-offs, tons of different activities, and seemingly even more playdates. Sometimes, it’s hard to keep up but we’re faking it ‘til we make it over here!
Our family doesn’t have any big travel plans this summer other than possibly flying out to visit family on the east coast so we’re running around in the Los Angeles valley heat, soaking in all of the beautiful weather.
I hope everyone is off to the start of a wonderful summer!
