Classic Trench + Suede Boots

Today’s outfit of the day is one which I’ve been wearing on repeat this winter here in LA. We’re lucky that the weather has been pretty mild so far this year (other than the horrific fires of course—more about those here!).

During the day, I’ve been able to wear knee-high boots with bare legs and it hasn’t been too cold. This is always one of my favorite looks to wear because growing up in upstate New York, I always dreamed of wearing boots like this in the winter but it was always below zero outside this time of year and I would have gotten frostbite.

I paired one of my favorite classic trench coats with the cutest plaid material inside with suede brown boots and a comfy black sweater dress. Whenever I struggle with what to wear, this classic combo never fails and it always looks simple and chic. I topped off the look with black sunnies, a brown purse (with a twily wrapped around the handle for a pop of color), and gold statement earrings.
