Sezane Betty Cardigan Review

I’ve had my eye on the Betty Cardigan from Sezane for many months now and I finally bit the bullet to score my first one. If you’re not familiar with Sezane, it’s one of my favorite French retailers. Their pieces are timeless, beautifully-made, and from leather goods to shoes, garments, and everything in between, you really can’t go wrong.

The Betty Cardigan is one of Sezane’s staples. It’s a thin, breathable, soft knit. It has a rather boxy cut which is important to note for sizing purposes. Despite the boxy fit, I sized up to a size small because I wanted the sweater to fit more like a jacket so I could also wear it open as well as closed. All in all, I’m so happy with it, I am already eyeing it in some other colors. I’m loving this black and white one, this red one, and this white “mottled” one with crocheted accents.

Today, I paired the Betty with classic Levis, pumps, and I left the rest of my look quite simple. That’s the best part about Sezane in my opinion. Most of the pieces have an elegant simplicity to them and the older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve gravitated towards this vibe. Sharing some photos of my outfit today and Sadie’s as well.
