Classic Black & White Stripes

Last year right around this time, my sister and I took an impromptu trip to Paris (more here). That trip continues to inspire me—especially outfit wise—and today was one of those days. After all, January of 2025 has been quite a year already and fashion is always a fun escape.

When it comes to French fashion, I know that real Parisian women are not parading around the city wearing stripes everyday (and that they probably look at American tourists wearing them as cliche) but this top is by Parisian brand Sezane so I hope they would give it a hall pass.

It has the perfect roomie fit, it’s classic, and I absolutely love it. It also happens to be a great layering piece—worn over a button-down top (as I’m wearing it today), or even draped over the shoulders.

I paired this top with a pair of cropped, wide-leg denim pants, white patent leather boots (I’m obsessed with the look and quality of these boots!), and classic black accessories.
