Shuviluna: Elevated Basics

I recently had the pleasure of walking in a fashion show for the designer, Shuviluna here in Los Angeles (video here). Shuviluna is a talented designer based in Mexico who creates the most luxurious, chic handbags. I so appreciated meeting her and am excited to share an outfit I styled today around one of her amazing leather bags. Sharing outfit details below, as well as some more information about this bag.

Shuviluna Handbag

This beautiful Shuviluna handbag is made of the softest, most luxious leather. I chose a neutral color so that it would go with everything and I’ve been wearing this bag on repeat ever since it arrived.

While this bag is easy to open, I love that the clasp at the top of the bag stays closed and it keeps your belongings inside nice and safe until you’re ready for them.

The clasp feels modern and elegant and I also love that it has a vintage vibe to it. It reminds me of the purses my grandmothers used to carry when I was a kid in the very best of ways.

The best part of the bag in my opinion is that the straps are interchangeable. As you can see in throughout the photos in this post, I start out with a bold gold chain and swap it out for a white chain. The two different chains give the bag an entirely different look in seconds. The chains hook onto the bag quite easily—with clasps. You can also lose the chains entirely and use the bag as an evening clutch.

Shuviluna has tons of different bag designs on their website—from micro to maxi size. Mine is a size medium and it’s perfect for all of the essentials. I can’t rave about Shuviluna more!

Outfit Of The Day

Today, I paired my Shuviluna bag with a basic summer outfit I have bene wearing at least once a week.

I’ve been loving trouser shorts this summer because they’re so comfy and cool in this hot LA weather but they still look chic and put together.

I paired them with a simple black tank, my favorite white linen button-down, a classic belt, and black chunky sandals.
