Must-Have Romantic Dresses
I've officially entered a new stage of quarantine fashion--the 'all dresses everything' (and overgrown eyebrows) phase. I've been living in romantic maxi dresses over the past few weeks because they're SO much comfier than pants in this 100 degree heat!
I also love that they instantly make me feel more put together while Zooming away all day every day from my home office. Rounding up a few of my favorite romantic dresses of the moment--all at different price points.
Also, sharing some recent snapshots of the fifteen minutes of alone time I got outside to paint during Sadie and Naiya's naps over the weekend. I broke out the watercolors (more here), got creative and it was pretty much everything.
BTW, these are now officially Naiya's watercolors so she took them right back. It's almost her third birthday (this weekend!) so I'll let it slide.
#OOTD: Romantic Dress Central
I'm currently living in "house dresses"--comfy, flowy maxi dresses. My jeans are literally having FOMO but who really needs pants in 2020, let's be honest?Wearing an older frock today that's currently sold out so I'm linking to some other faves I currently have my eye on below.
I'm especially loving puffy, voluminous sleeves right now, off-the-shoulder looks, and milkmaid-inspired frocks. This romantic dress was perfect to paint in outside (more here) and for a moment, I was able to let my mind go and pretend this whole 2020 quarantine was over during the girls' naptime. I painted away and felt a glimmer of my pre-baby self come back to life. Past nap time, I've been trying to get as creative as possible along with Naiya so that she can get inspired too but so far, this only lasts 10 minutes.
Slowly but surely, we'll get there!Sadie turned 10 months this week and Naiya's third birthday is this weekend. Where is the time going?! Hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and healthy. What a year!
