Cheetah Skirt + Oversized Sweater

Last weekend, I took Naiya on a special date to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Since it's the first year she is completely enamored by the holidays, I wanted her to see the beautiful holiday lights and decor. As I recently shared here, we haven't left our little bubble in what seems like forever so an hour or so out felt like a mini vacation.

After all, it's the little things in 2020 that make us light up; what a year it's been! We went extremely early β€” before people were really out so it felt as safe as possible given these crazy times. I wore a cheetah print skirt that I had been eyeing for a while. Naiya wore her Elsa dress from 'Frozen' which was very on-brand for her as she RARELY takes it off! Sharing snapshots of our holiday date as well as outfit details below.

Outfit Of The Day

I've had my eye on this cheetah print skirt for a while and was excited to see that it had recently gone on sale! It's currently less than $50.00 and it's perfect for the holidays. Today, I paired it with the comfiest oversized sweater I scooped up from Express (also on sale for just $32.00!).  I love the balloon sleeves and am thinking about getting it in pink too.

I accessorized with classic ray ban sunnies and the cutest black booties. They're by Styled Snapshots x Vince Camuto and I've been living in them. I was also having quite the quarantine hair day (mama needs a haircut!) so I topped off the look with a classic black fedora.

As for Naiya, as I shared above, girlfriend is 'Frozen'-obsessed even though she has only seen clips on YouTube. I can't wait for the day where she'll sit and watch an entire movie with me. I also await the day when she'll allow me to style her like I used to (here, here and here).

She's such a three-nager and she would literally NEVER take off this princess dress if she didn't have to take a bath. At least she let me layer it beneath a denim jacket today! That was major. When did your kids let you dress them again? Did they ever? Tell me all the things and happy almost holidays!
