Top 10 Bump-Friendly Summer Dresses

This pregnancy is flying by and my bump is getting bigger by the day.  As a second-time mama-to-be, truth be told, I'm not paying as much attention to every pregnancy detail as I did when I was pregnant with Naiya.  I don't always know exactly how many weeks (days and hours) pregnant I am or what size vegetable this baby is as I did last pregnancy.

Instead, this time around, it's all about keeping up with Naiya, making sure I make it through every workday in one piece and everything in between!  As overwhelmed as I've felt recently, one thing that makes me feel better is having fun styling the bump. I've noticed I feel so much better when I feel a bit put together each day.

Sharing one of my favorite dresses of the moment that's comfy for pregnancy and beyond (and it's currently on sale!).  I'm excited to also round up nine other summer dresses I'm eyeing that are bump-friendly even though they're not maternity. Non-pregos, all of the below picks should work for you too!

The Floral Dress

I've been wearing this Chicwish floral dress on repeat recently. It's so oversized and flowy, it's been growing along with me this pregnancy! The best part, it's currently on sale and is less than $60.00.  I love the little tie it comes with that helps to define the waist (or for me, what's left of it!). You can tie the bow in front or in the back.

Today, I paired the dress with nude heels. That said, the dress does not run long so on weekends, I love wearing it with flats. I also layered on a denim jacket and topped off the look with white sunnies and a burnt orange vintage Chloe bag. This dress is also so light and airy, it's perfect post-pregnancy so it's a win-win.

Other Bump-Friendly Dresses I'm Loving

I've had my eye on the nine dresses below for summer as well. While they're not "maternity," they're uber-comfy and look so cute with a bump. Remember to size up, especially if you're in your second or third trimester so you have enough room!Especially loving this t-shirt dress, this wrap dress and this boho dress (only $62!). Can't get enough of the criss-crossed straps on this adorable white dress too.

What Are Your Favorite Types Of Dresses To Wear During Pregnancy?

Throughout my first pregnancy, I always wore loose-fitting clothing. I rarely felt comfortable wearing anything hugging my bump too tightly. It wasn't until after I gave birth to Naiya that I started to get more inspired by adorable pregos embracing their bump more than I did.I promised myself that if I had another baby, I'd try to embrace my bump more too. This pregnancy, I've been trying to do just that!

Overall, I tend to buy non-maternity outfits that I just size up. From there, I love accentuating the bump with a belt. I've definitely splurged on maternity jeans (currently obsessed with this adjustable Madewell pair here).

Truth be told, I never bit the bullet and bought them my first pregnancy but this time, I'm already so much bigger, it just had to happen. So glad I made the investment because I feel so much more comfortable!Mamas: I'd love to know what you prefer--maternity, sizing up, a combo, etc.
