How to Tie a Baby Wrap
Since giving birth Naiya back in August, I've become such big fan of "wearing" her that I wanted to dedicate today's post to my love for baby wrapping. Over the past few weeks, this has completely changed my life because it's given me the freedom to move around the house and get things done while Phil is working.
Naiya’s Birth Story
I can't believe Naiya is turning three weeks old tonight. I feel like we've known her forever--except in the middle of the night when she cries uncontrollably for hours, can't stop cluster feeding and fights going to sleep--but that's another story.
Welcoming Naiya Lennon
I'm excited to finally share some hospital photos from her birthday since the past couple of weeks have been such a whirlwind and finding the time to post has not been the easiest.
Our Maternity Shoot
I'm so excited to share my first post since Phil and I have officially become parents! Our daughter, Naiya Lennon Galanty was born August 30th. We are so in love and so exhausted at the same time and the past couple of weeks have been such a whirlwind.
Bumpdate: 40 Weeks
Hello, August 24, 2017! Phil and I have been dreaming of this day for what seems like forever because it's our daughter's official due date. Even though she's not showing any new signs of coming out just yet, this still feels like such a special day and we're so thankful to have made it here.
Baby Bump Belly Art
I didn't have much of a bump until I was about 8-months preggo. For a long time, it looked like I had eaten too many burritos and I felt completely uncomfortable.
Our Baby Shower
When it came to having a baby shower, unlike most preggo moms to be who I know, I originally felt more nervous than excited! Since this pregnancy has not been a walk in the park and I've mostly felt so sick with 24-hour nausea, Phil and I have been cautiously optimistic every step of the way.
Baby Blue: 34 Weeks
I love this dress because of its shorter length and flared sleeves. LA has been going through a major heat wave — with temps above 107 in the valley — so I've been braiding my hair in all different ways to keep it off my neck.
Pregnancy Update: 29 Weeks
Celebrating 29 weeks of pregnancy today! Phil and I finally took our first class last night at LA’s The Pump Station and it was super eye-opening. It was a three hour breast feeding class (lucky Phil!) and now I'm bracing myself for the first three months of motherhood even more so than before (but I'm thankful for all of the intel!).
Third Trimester Update
Phil and I are so excited to officially announce that we're expecting a baby girl! Throughout the beginning of my pregnancy, I was completely convinced that we were having a boy so this news came as a total surprise to me. Of course I've always dreamed of having a little girl to dress up and we couldn't be happier!
Pregnancy Update: 27 Weeks
After another couple weeks of traveling on the east coast, I have finally landed back in LA! This trip was bittersweet because it was my last big production trip before baby.
Pregnancy Update: 6 Months
As we were packing for our babymoon a few weeks ago, I realized right away that I was overpacking. Aside from tossing a bunch of bathing suits into my suitcase, I couldn't figure out how to pair down the rest of my outfits (which was not a good thing since Phil and I were sharing a suitcase!).
We’re Pregnant!
Phil and I are beyond excited to finally share some news we've been dying to tell you for a long time: we're pregnant! We are expecting our first baby August 24th and could not be more thrilled to finally break the news!
Our Wedding - How to Nail Sunset Photos
During our wedding reception, our talented photographer, Katrina Jayne, whisked Phil and I away to take sunset photos. The lighting was so etherial and we'll now have these amazing photos to look back at forever. Below are a few of our favorites that make it look like we stepped right into a fairytale.
Our Wedding Story - Reception
So excited to share some of our favorite photos from our wedding reception with you today. As cliche as it may sound, our reception was everything we had hoped it would be and more and I only wish we could have stayed in that moment forever.
Our Wedding Story - Grand Entrance
Our reception felt like it was right out of a fairytale and we are so thankful to our venue, McCkormick Home Ranch, for helping to curate the chic look with rustic elements that we were dreaming about.
Our Wedding - Cocktail Hour
After our ceremony, Phil and I floated off to take photos while our guests were whisked away to cocktail hour. We had the most amazing tasting before the wedding with Tarte Catering and I only wish we could have seen all of the food we picked out on display during this time.
Our Wedding - Ceremony
The ceremony was the part of our wedding day that we were most anxious about. Phil and I decided to write our own vows to one another and I was so nervous I wouldn't be able to get through them without crying.
Our Wedding - First Look
Phil and I put a lot of thought into whether we wanted to see each other before we walked down the aisle and in the end, I'm so happy we finally decided to have this special moment together.
